Job Opportunity: Sales and Marketing Manager for large Subaru enthusiast festivals

SubieEvents, LLC is looking to hire a Sales and Marketing Manager. Responsible for everything regarding ticket and sponsorship sales and communications, you’ll regularly collaborate with the Event Director on formulating and executing plans to drive attendance and sponsorship involvement for the event series. Other tasks will involve event logistics and taking the lead on various Subaru community business initiatives.

The right candidate will be based in Denver, have a background in marketing, be very capable of cold calling potential sponsors, be very familiar with what it means to be a Subaru enthusiast, and be capable of finding new ways to expand the events’ offering and reach during downtime. With your own unique blend of motivation, willingness to learn, ability to take ownership of a task, and solid communication skills, putting on these events will become your own passion project. Ability to travel to every event is required.

Your primary responsibilities:
– Everything regarding ticketing and sales
– Email campaigns, content writing, and list management
– Facebook & Instagram ownership, posts and content creation, interaction / question answering, ad campaign management, growth
– Sales data tracking and analysis
– Sponsor cross promotional ideas, coordination, and giveaways
– Street teams and Subaru community / club collaboration
– Event coverage / content generation and organization
– All attendee pre-event communication
– All attendee post-event surveys / analysis
– Everything regarding sponsorship and vendor sales
– Sponsor relationship management / CRM
– Sponsor communicating needs / requirements, logistics communications, marketing value, etc
– Sponsor event day deliverables: load in, locations, rentals, shirts, support, banner placement
– Sponsor value adds such as tech seminars and promotions
– Misc event logistics including printing, shipping, and fire fighting

Requirements:
– 2+ years of experience with event marketing or general internet marketing tasks
– Demonstrated copywriting capabilities: email content, social media content and ideas, and copy
– Demonstrated confident phone and professional communication skills
– Subaru owner and / or enthusiast
– Ability to travel to all events and possibly more
– Tech savviness
– Ability to report to the SubieEvents, LLC HQ in Denver, CO on a daily basis

Starting in April of 2019 and based in Denver, Colorado, the Sales and Marketing Manager is a part or full time position depending on experience and availability. Compensation depends on experience.
